Biography:
PANGEA - The Beatles Revival Band - is one of the top Czech Beatles tribute
bands. It was founded in 1992 and since then it has had many successful performances
with the listeners of both younger and middle-age generation. Pangea plays
at many places in the Czech Republic, especially at tribute festivals, oldies
parties, open-air festivals, clubs and culture centres. Beside that Pangea
offers live performances at private or corporate parties and presentations.
Enhancement of the band by fifth member enables to present more demanding
and more varied-in-sound compositions at live performances (string, wind and
brass arrangements from the later creative period of the Beatles) and evoke
the real atmosphere of the Beatles' records. Pangea uses the copies of original
instruments including the 12-string electric guitar, acoustic guitars, violin
bass guitar, harmonica etc.
Shows:
1. The Beatles 1962-1970 overview - approx. 100 minutes, series of 30 or 45
minutes with changing costumes and gear
2. The greatest hits collection - approx. 60 minutes (She Loves You, A Hard
Day's Night, Help!, Yesterday, Hey Jude …)
