Members: Leonor Jove, Freddy Guzmán, Asdrúbal Urdaneta, Eduardo Arias and Gerardo Avendaño.

Location: Venezuela

Biography: (from the Beatleweek 2002 Programme)

There are hundreds of Beatles Tribute bands around the world who concentrate on re-creating the songs of The Fab Four exactly, but there are just a handful of groups who have decided to interpret Beatles music in a completely different way. We have had appearances in previous years by string quintet the Darmstadt Beatles, by the German DEF Orchestra, and also by the Eleanor Rigby Experience who presented their unique show back in 2000.

Música Expresiva bring their 'Beatles Unplugged' concert to this years Convention from Venezuela. Scoring the original musical arrangements themselves, Música Expresiva perform some of the Beatles best known compositions, along with some of the lesser heard ones on a variety of instruments including acoustic guitars, a violoncello, flute, vibraphone and percussion, along with the voice of their female singer, Leonor Jove. The other members of the group are Freddy Guzmán, Asdrúbal Urdaneta, Eduardo Arias and Gerardo Avendaño.

Like several of the bands this Beatleweek, Música Expresiva were invited to play at the festival after appearing at the first Latin American Beatle Week in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We're really looking forward to seeing how Música Expresiva interpret the Beatles!
