Biography:
The Boom - Beatles Revival Band started playing in 1991. 1997 saw them begin a collaboration with a symphonic orchestra for special concert shows. That first Christmas show had just a small orchestra; nowadays the orchestra consists of about 50 musicians; string and brass players, keyboard players etc, professional or non-professional, mostly friends of the band. The Boom Beatles Revival Band and Orchestra perform Beatles songs never performed live on stage by The Beatles. The band perform no more than 3 shows a year, and the season regularly ends with a big Christmas concert. Last year it was the 15th Christmas concert and 9th with the orchestra and it took place in beautiful baroque church of St. Adalbert in the bands home city. For the last two years the band and orchestra took part in the Trutnov Open Air Festival; a long traditional Czech 'hippie' festival which is annually visited by former president Vaclav Havel and his wife. The band also took part in a few benefit concerts and many many more other events. Besides the big shows the four Boom Beatles still play small shows just like in the old days…
