Just like their movie counterparts, these young Meanies (their ages ranging from 23 to 26) took the Mexican Beatle scene by storm last year with a series of energy-packed shows filled with Beatles (and solo Beatles) songs that no other tribute band dared to play! Miguel (drums & lead vocals), Nacho (guitar), Jesús (keyboards) and Eduardo (bass) make up the band which saw its first light back in 2003. Since then, they've shocked Mexican audiences with their concerts - at one playing the exact same set list from Paul McCartney's Back In The US 2002 tour and at another paying tribute to John Lennon with 24 of his best solo composition, and now they're here in Liverpool to represent Mexico at Beatle Week 2005.
These guys are not your typical Beatle tribute band; they refuse to dress like the fab four or copy their stage movements. Instead, they rely on their musicianship and energy to bring you a different kind of concert… where you could find yourself rocking to McCartney's 1985, dancing along to Lennon's Crippled Inside, or enjoying one of those Beatle songs that you've always wanted to hear live!
