Biography: (Taken from Liverpool Beatle Week Programme 2008)

The Beatelles are a female Beatles tribute band from Liverpool. They believe that the Beatles made the best music ever written and have made it their mission to play it with the soul and passion it deserves, but with a feminine edge of course. The Beatelles love all the Beatles music but above all enjoy playing the later material from legendary albums such as Sgt Pepper's, Revolver, and the White Album. The stuff that broke the mould back in the day, and the little gems that most people don't realise the Beatles made but which still sound as fresh and contemporary as ever.

They are constantly expanding their repertoire and plan to record some material very soon. As locals, the girls are proud to be able to play a part in the Capital of Culture celebrations.

The band made their Beatle Week debut last year as The LadyBugs, but after becoming a four-piece, and relaunching themselves with a new name in January, they are excited to return to the festival this year.

So may we introduce to you... Catherine Cook (vocals/rhythm guitar), Louisa Roach (vocals/bass), Claire Lamb (lead guitar) and Nadine Kemp (drums). "We hope you will enjoy the show!"
