A Little Bit Of Sweden

Lenny Pane are one of the worlds biggest Beatle Bands. The band from Gothenburg in Sweden have been together since 1991, and are one of the most skillful tribute bands in the world. The band members are all qualified music teachers, who met at Gothenburg University and discovered that they had all things "fab" in common. They decided to form a Beatles Tribute Band and since that day they have never looked back.

The band perform over 90 shows worldwide each year, and it is no wonder that they are one of the most sought after tribute bands in the world. Lenny Pane's love for the music comes through in every stage show they do! They carry that same sprit that the Beatles had and they share their wonderful sense of humour on stage! It's clear, when watching their shows, the guys in the band love what they do! It's comes as no surprise that Bill Heckle suggested Lenny Pane to play at the world premiere screening of the remastered Yellow Submarine, in Liverpool, in front of Sir George Martin and Neil Aspinall. They recreated the songs from the film, live on stage and it's a show that I'll never forget! They gave the songs real credit and brought them to life. Wonderful songs such as 'All You Need Is Love', 'When I'm Sixty-four', 'Its All Too Much', 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' - it was magic!

The professionalism of Lenny Pane shone through at that concert. It's no wonder that the world of Beatlefans love them, and I want to personally thank the band for being such a credit to The Beatles music. We all missed you at Beatleweek and we would LOVE for you to be back where you belong at convention 2001!? I asked the band to fill out these profiles and here are the answers that they came up with! So its over to you guys! Thanks so much for your contribution to this article and the support you give to this magazine! We Love You! Just one last question, do you ever get tired of Being Beatles…? "Ah No! You get a little bit lonely sometimes…" Now where have we heard that before?!!
