Gary Gibson and the Get Back Band

OK! My reasons for thinking that these guys are the best Beatle band around are pretty straightforward. Each one is an excellent musician. Every show has an amazing atmosphere to it, none more so than the Beatleweek shows. I always think that their choice of songs is just right and I love the fact that they are not one of the wig-wearing variety of Beatle Bands that are around!! The music is the thing and getting the sound right is what counts.

There are certain songs that I would love to hear them do but they can't please all the (Beatle) people all the time!! I personally love their versions of 'Hey Bulldog', 'Can't Buy Me Love', 'I've Got A Feeling', 'A Hard Day's Night'…the list goes on! The rock and roll stuff is fantastic and I think that Gary is the greatest front man of the Beatles bands for sure. They always come up with something a bit different, and I for one, won't forget that guitar solo in 'Stand By Me' at last years Beatleweek for a long time, talk about shivers up the spine!

I could pick out so many bits and pieces that are my favourites but basically, it's the effort and energy that goes into the shows that I love, and also they are a sound bunch of guys too!! So Gary, Si, Jutt and Rick - thanks guys for keeping the music alive!! See you soon!
