The Fab Beatles - Beatleweek 2000
The Fab Beatles went down a storm at this year's Festival. We were so proud of these young guys from Exeter, who made their first trip to the event and gave us Beatles fans the time of our lives! Not only did The Fabs, have support from their local fans who traveled with them, but they made lots of new friends and fans at the festival!
Two of these new fans were members of The Fab Faux! "Wow, who are these guys?" Will Lee asked, as they played their Adelphi set! Frank Agnello also commented on our website; "I think that The Fab Beatles will get a more high profile next year!" You can't get a better compliment than that can you?
The boys treated us to songs such as 'Twist and Shout', 'She Loves You', 'Sweet Little Sixteen', 'I Saw Her Standing There', 'Hey Jude' and who can forget their stunning authentic show at The Cavern Club? Definitely "Hot Stuff", hey guys?! The band were also chosen to support Gary Gibson at the Royal Court Theatre on the Monday night, where they showed us the later side of The Fab Beatles stage set! The Sergeant Pepper period! Dressed in Pepper outfits, the guys played classics such as 'Hello Goodbye', 'Penny Lane', 'I Am The Walrus' and 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds'. It was a show enjoyed by all and we know that you passed the audition guys!
One last thing, we here at The Word Is Love, want to thank the guys for their continued support, by advertising our magazine at the end of their monthly newsletters! Thank you guys! We love you…Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
