Beatles Charity Christmas Party

www.seedism.com

Saturday 6th December 2003, Jacaranda Club, Liverpool, 1.30-7.30pm

The bands have now been finalised and I'm sure you will agree that there is a fine selection of festive entertainment for the annual bash!

I would like to present...... The Beat Brothers playing an exclusive tribute to George Harrison alongside a selection of Beatles & 60's tunes to get us in the party mood! I thought it was important that we have a nice tribute for George around this time.

Sam Leach original promoter and friend of the Beatles will be present and will donate some Beatles goodies to the auction and raffle. I hope that Sam will give us a talk about the Beatles and the early MerseyBeat era.

The Prellies are back! Fresh in from Beatle Week where they will get the party rocking Hamburg style! The lads have promised to be wearing some interesting attire for authenticity! Bring your cameras!

Rich Sherman (Lennon look-alike) and Max Frudd (Ringo look-alike) will be available throughout the day for photo's, there will be a small charge and for this you will get a nice professional A4 memory from the day. It's all good fun!

Rich will host an auction of which we have some amazing merchandise up for grabs. An exclusive Mike McCartney book which has been signed personally for the charity event, a replica gold 'Beatles' disc which has been generously donated by the London Beatles Store, signed Robert Whitaker posters and much much more which I would like to thank our generous sponsors for......more details later.

Next up will be Lawrence Gilmour, Macca is back! An exclusive set will be put together especially for the day!

Jimmy & Tony Coburn from The Blue Meanies will entertain us with a Lennon & McCartney set, a fitting tribute to John on his anniversary.

And for the finale............well you will have to wait and see!

We hope you will enjoy the show. As well as all the above there will be a raffle with some wonderful prizes, tombola and lucky dip. Please contact me for tickets (only £5!) which are limited as the Jacaranda has a smallish capacity and I will add that tickets are selling really quickly.

All proceeds will go to the Linda McCartney Cancer Centre and The Macmillan Nurses. 'Let's fight cancer together!'
