Liverpool

Liverpool have established themselves as Sweden's most popular Beatles tribute band. Their 'Lennon', Olle Nilsson won the Swedish equivalent of Stars in Their Eyes, which really brought the band to the attention of the Swedish press and they have subsequently appeared on many television programmes, while also managing to tour almost constantly both in Sweden and in many other countries.

On many occasions they performed with a full symphony orchestra, often working with the famous conductor Anders Eljas. As well as touring with Liverpool, Olle Nilsson also plays solo gigs and has recorded several original solo albums. This time he's going to perform the Imagine album at the Cavern Club. Co-founding member Kent Szwonder plays drums and also sings Ringo's parts. Bassist Ronnie Roos also scores the groups orchestral arrangements and has his own recording studio. Sebastian Roos (Ronnie's son) is the groups guitarist and also sings Paul's vocal parts. He recently released a CD album with his group 'Shine'. They have performed at 10 times at Liverpool Beatle Week.

In 2002, they recorded Olle's song Humans at Abbey Road for the Cavern City Tours CD Why don't we do it in Abbey Road. In 2003, they participated in the Swedish contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest and released an album of original music that made the Swedish charts.

In 2004, they celebrated their 25th anniversary and earlier this year, they played in Germany, supported by Horst Fascher, former manager of the Star Club.
