Hal Bruce – Canada
Hal Bruce continues touring the
world this year with his Music And Story Of The Beatles show. He
returns to Liverpool for the 6th consecutive year as one of the busiest performers
in the festival, playing in places like The Cavern Club (front and back),
Cavern Pub, The Adelphi Hotel, and twice at The Royal Court Theatre.
He set a world-record last year
by performing a non-stop medley of all 214 Beatles songs... all in order of
release and all in the original keys... in Cleveland, Ohio. Hal recreated
the feat this year in Louisville, Kentucky and will attempt to do it again at
The Adelphi Hotel on the weekend.
Hal will be performing his Cavern
Pub and Club gigs with Scott Ferguson under the name Hal Bruce & Ticket
2 Ride. This unique duo was formed not long after Hal and
Scott's first meeting in 2002. Hal approached Scott to engineer his first Beatle
tribute CD In My Life... As a result of the great support the album received
worldwide, a second album entitled I Will... soon followed, with Hal
performing all vocals, guitars and bass. Scott, who is one of Canada's greatest
drummers, stepped in and supplied the necessary drum and percussion parts.
Since then they have formed their
Ticket 2 Ride tribute and have performed many theatre shows, clubs and
festival dates together; from Canada to the Caribbean to their second visit
as a duo in Liverpool for Beatle Week 2005.
Check them out and see why
their act is in popular demand. Visually they are a duo, but they sound like
a whole lot more!
Hal will also be performing an
evening With A Little Help From His Friends... we’re calling it Hal's Apple
Jam!
Make sure you check out Hal’s varied
and versatile shows!
