Surely anyone who's been to Beatle Week over the last ten years has had the pleasure of seeing the Brazilian band Clube Big Beatles perform. They've been taking part in the event for a decade, performing 69 shows on numerous different stages around the city and have been involved in its most important and memorable events. They have a large group of loyal fans who are always in the audience and follow the band around the city. And Clube Big Beatles never lets them down. They've always got something new up their sleeves; creative sets competently performed in an entertaining way. No two Clube Big Beatles shows are ever the same. Every performance is unique.
In 2005 they will again be at the forefront, presenting two new projects; the Big Beat Project, a fusion of electronic music and Beatles Songs; and the Classic Influence Project that traces the influence of the Beatles style on the careers of great names in rock worldwide. So why not catch their shows in Liverpool and check out these new projects. But don't forget there'll only be five shows - Clube Big Beatles will be appearing at the Cavern Club for the eighth time; you can spend an enjoyable afternoon with them in Strawberry Fields; they will celebrate a ten appearance on the Adelphi main stage; and they will also be rocking the audience at the Mathew Street Festival Beatle stage as well as making a special presentation at Trials Bar.
So now you know where they're playing, check on the days and times of the shows in the Clube Big Beatles programme and make a date to share their energy. Every show has something new so why not see all five?!
