Acústika, a band who really created a buzz at Beatle Week last year, are back to rock you again this year! After impressing the audience with their performances in Liverpool, they were also invited to the Latin America Beatle Week in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they not only won the award for 'Best Foreign Band', but were also praised by John Lennon's sister, Julia, who was present at the event.

And their globetrotting doesn't stop there - they have also been summoned to play in Finland, the USA and Holland, as well as a very special invitation from the Chinese consulate to join in the celebrations for Chinese New Year.

Featuring Tayana Dantas, Jane Soren, Luciana Guessa and Claudia Moreno, Acústika are back to prove that Brazilian music is not just samba, but a whole lot of rock 'n' roll too. Their exquisite vocals harmonies, exciting musical arrangements and lively stage performances are captivating and with their unusual interpretations of songs by artists from The Beatles to Coldplay, Aerosmith to The Carpenters using violin, harmonica and tin-whistle, guitar, bass and drum solos and, even translating the lyrics into Spanish, Italian, French and Chinese, the band have created a cocktail that drive the audience wild.
