The Fab Four -- John, George, Paul, and Ringo -- are coming to Cumberland County for one night only.
It's true -- sort of.

On March 13 beginning at 8 p.m. at the Frank Guaracini Jr. Fine & Performing Arts Center, the Bridgeton Rotary Lunch Club will present "Beatlemania Now," a live, on-stage tribute to the Beatles.

According to the promoter of the event, Bridgeton public affairs and recreation director Bob Rose, the Broadway show "successfully recaptures the mood and frantic intensity of that by-gone era. The performers effectively recreate the sights and sounds that were and still are the Beatles."

The show chronicles the band's experiences beginning with their American debut in 1964 on the Ed Sullivan Show to their finale performance of "Let It Be" in 1970.

The two-hour production features over 35 Beatles songs and five costume changes to incorporate the entire span -- once they came to America -- of arguably the greatest band in the history of rock music.

Tickets for the show are $25 for the public, $20 for students and can be purchased at the theater box office on the county college campus or by phone at 692-TIXX(8499). All seats are reserved.
