Viewers of BBC2's Trouble at the Top on Tuesday may have spotted a few familiar Beatle Week faces! The programme was all about Cavern City Tours and their epic project to open the Hard Day's Night Hotel in Liverpool. Although the show mostly dealt with the financial side of the business, there was some footage of the Adelphi and various events around Beatle Week; beady eyed viewers would recognise Johnny Silver, Lawrence Gilmour and The Beats as well as CCT's own Fab Four: Bill Heckle, Dave Jones, Ray Johnson and George Guinness, who has since sold his share of the partnership. We also saw the lovely Vikki and Neil B... modelling a rather fetching Cavern thong! The programme is repeated on BBC2 on Monday 31 January at 12.20am. Talking of Cavern City Tours... Beatle Week 2005 booking brochures are now available. Visit the official Beatle Week website [here] for all the information on this years programme and how to book. |
