Paul sings with Marty
It's the best tribute any Beatle could hope for.
American George Harrison-soundalike Marty Scott struck up an unlikely friendship with George's sister Louise after she saw him play.
And he sang with Sir Paul McCartney after he was introduced by his idol's sister.
Louise told Mary, who plays George in the tribute band American English, she was moved to tears by his performance and, when she heard him sing, she felt George was with her again.
The pair got on so well Marty invited Louise to stay at his home for a few days before she attended the recent Paul McCartney concert in Chicago.
Marty said: "We stayed up every night and she reminisced about her childhood with George."
Before the concert, Louise invited Marty to meet Sir Paul McCartney.
Marty said: "Louise told Paul I played George in American English tribute band.
"When Sir Paul's fiancee Heather Mills entered the room, the ex-Beatles made her guess who Louise was."
When Marty asked Sir Paul for an autograph, he said: "Marty with a Y, right, like Marty Robbins?" and proceeded to sing the Marty Robbins hit El Paso.
"It's my Dad's favourite, so I joined in with him.
"I didn't realise how cool that was until I was walking out, because I had to be held up by Louise, realising I had just sung with Paul McCartney!"
