The Word Is Love was born in 2000 when two Liverpool Beatle Week regulars, myself and Jo Rishton, decided to try and cure the Beatleweek Blues… a little known illness, seen mostly among those who spend their August Bank Holiday weekends watching tribute bands, socialising with friends from across the universe and not sleeping. The only solution seemed to be regular doses of Beatles Tribute Bands, and so, to ensure those sufferers of the Beatleweek Blues were able to receive relief from their symptoms, we created The Word Is Love…
Originally a quarterly magazine, The Word Is Love is now an online e-zine, updated almost daily and featuring reviews, articles, and the latest news about Beatles Tribute Bands all over the world.
After a hiatus in early 2007 the website is now active again and will be updated frequently so be sure to drop in regulalry, and if you know of a band who we don't feature, please let us know!
